Postcards from Monday.
Monday brought us moody, inconsistent skies, dynamic light, and two lovely swims with water like glass. It’s hard to believe the sea can be so flat. This light makes the greens variable and punchy, and flat seas make stunning reflections on an underwater ceiling of the surface - a swimming photographer’s dream.
Arrival at beautiful Thilia Island.
Circumnavigating Thilia Island - Myssie’s first circumnavigation!
On the move to our next location.
Gidaki Bay, with its stunning white cliffs and swim through to secret amphitheater has become one of my favorite Ionian swim spots.
Playing in the amphitheater.
An amazing meal of chicken with prosciutto and mushrooms, seasoned cauliflower and pesto potatoes. Dessert was an obscene dark chocolate mousse with orange zest.
We are at anchor tonight in Skinos Bay of Ithaki Island. Everyone is in bed but me. It is calm and still, but there is lightening on the horizon. We are keeping an eye out for a storm, and will roll with whatever Tuesday will bring.
A quiet Kali Nikta from Greece.
